The prices range from IDR 10-40K (U$0.7-3). It depends on where you buy it

Fried Kway Teow

So, today, I want to share to you how to make Kway Teow in the easiest way. I can say like that because I use simple ingredients and NO MSG at all. Let's get start it :)

Kway Teow Noodle

First, prepare all of the ingredients. These are the ingredients that I use to make Fried Kway Teow:

1. Kway Teow Noodle

3. Green Onion (cut in 2 cms)
4. 1 Clove Garlic (minced)

Chocomory Thin Chocolate Matcha Review

Chocomory Matcha Thin Chocolate  Review

Hello everyone!  Are you a matcha lover like me? Have you ate matcha chocolate before? Today, I'm as matcha lover will  share to you about thin chocolates in matcha flavour. I bought this one when I was on the way after finishing community service programme.

Our bus stopped in the Semarang (Cimory on the Valley). The place is a combination  of dairy products shop, restaurant, tourism spot. I can easly to find dairy products like chocolate balls, yogurts, ice creams, flavoured milks, milky cookies.

The temptation from the chocolate was real. I couldn't ignore it, so I chose to buy some chocolates like matcha thin chocolate. The price is around IDR 17000 (U$ 1.3) for one pack, you will get discount if you buy 2 packs.

The Chocomory matcha thin chocolates were produced by Chocomory Bogor (Indonesia) and then Chocomory on the Valley (Semarang, Indonesia) sells it in its shop. I like the tagline from Chocomory. It says that "Where Happiness Comes Alive". The thickness of this chocolate is 2 milimeters. So, I think it's true when they claims that their matcha chocolate is the thinnest chocolate in Indonesia.

The matcha chocolate is only produced with real chocolate (100% cacao fat). This chocolate can melt in your mouth in 10 seconds. That's why you will get happiness in 10 seconds.

A pack of Chocomory matcha chocolate consists of 7 thin chocolates. After opening the second wrap you can smell the matcha flavour. It has strong matcha flavour because it uses real matcha powder only too. As a result, the colour of the matcha chocolate is green. You can see that there are some matcha powder in the chocolate. The taste is not too sweet and matcha (green tea) make the taste balanced. It really melt in my mouth smoothly. Chocomory won't make you regret buy this matcha thin chocolates.

Okay, It think this review is enough. See you on my next posts! :)

Nestle Green Tea Kitkat Review

Nestle Green Tea Kitkat Review

Hello everybody! It has been a long time for me not to post something about foods or snacks to you. So, I'll share a review today. Have you ever tried Green Tea Kitkat? To be honest, it was difficult enough to find Green Tea Kitkat in Indonesia. I only can order them in the online shop. It's available in one bag which consists of 12/13 mini packs. The good news is now we can buy them in small size and easily to find out. Go to the retail shop, minimarket, supermarket and you can pick them up.

Green Tea Kitkat is wafer fingers in Green Tea confectionery. It costs around IDR 10000 (U$ 0.7). I think it's quite affordable since it's new comers in Indonesian minimarket.

One serving (17 grams) contains 90 kcal. This Green Tea Kitkat has netto 35 grams. So, it's for 2 servings. It's produced by Nestle Asean (Malaysia).

So, that's the inside of Green Tea Kitkat. There is no Kitkat letter onto my Green Tea Kitkat because it had melted because of hot weather. I really like its smell. It's a mix of vanilla milk and matcha (green tea powder).

The taste is a little bit bitter because it has green tea flavour. I don't like eating or snacking something too sweet, so it's perfect snack for me. It still has strong vanilla milk flavour too. One mini pack (35 grams) consists of 4 fingers. The green tea chocolate covers the wafers. The taste is much better because green tea chocolate fills the wafers too.

If you are a matcha lover like myself, I do recommend it to you. It's a nice snack to accompany you when you're travelling, gathering, studying etc. The pleasant smell of the Green Tea Kitkat will make you snacking it again and again.

Okay, that's my review about Green Tea Kitkat. Hope you enjoy reading it. See you on my next posts! :)

"Magelangan"- What is it?

"Magelangan"- What is it?

Hello all of the foodie lovers around the world! Do you like fried rice? I do love it so much. But..how about "Magelangan"? Have you tried it before? I will explain about Magelangan in this post. Hope you stay tune to read it up :)

Magelangan

Magelangan's other name is Nasi Mawut. The meaning of mawut in local language is mix everything you like. So, Magelangan is a kind of fried rice mixed with noodles, green vegetables, soy sauce, spices, spring onion (optional) and fried egg. It's usually served with some shrimp crackers too. I usually buy Magelangan in Burjo (Sundanese Stall). I can find Burjo in the some big cities as instance in Jogjakarta/Yogyakarta. I'm studying in there so Magelangan become one of my solutions to fulfill my appetite. The price is depends on where you buy it. It costs around IDR 10.000-14.000 (U$ 0.7-1). This is so affordable for me.

The taste is a little bit sweet from sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) and salty from some spices. I like eating it with shrimp crackers. It gives super yummy taste. The good idea is when you eat Magelangan with crunchy fried egg on the edge and half-done egg yolk in the center. I ordered plain tea (sugarless tea) as a drink.

How's your idea about Magelangan? Do you wanna give it a try?

See you soon on my next post :)

Lay's Potato Chips Review

Lay’s Potato Chips Review

Hi guys! How was your day? Hope you enjoy your beautiful days. I’m gonna share to you about potato chips. Do you like foods/snacks made from potatoes? If yes, this review is right for you J I’m snacks lover. Lately, I ate some snacks almost every day in the few days ago.

Today, I will give my opinion about Lay’s Potato Chips. I bought some on the supermarket. I never tasted grilled chicken flavour before, so I picked them. One pack costs around IDR 2000 (U$ 0.15). I think it’s pretty cheap. The netto of mini Lay’s Potato Chips is 14 grams. I only find 10-14 chips inside. The colour of packaging is really cute haha. I love pink colour. Honestly, I hope chicken, paprika and lemon is not only on the packaging but also in real life. Give me real grilled chicken, please haha.

Ya, it’s made from potato and the taste is pretty good. I can taste grilled chicken flavour. I think it’s my second favourite taste after nori (seaweed) Lay’s potato chips. It’s saltier than seaweed flavour. Grilled chicken flavour is extremely strong for me in the Lay’s Potato Chip.

This is my review about Lay’s Potato Chips. Have you ever tasted it? Let me know your favourite potato snack! J

See you!

Banana Milk Review

            Banana Milk Review

Hello everyone! It has been 3 days I didn't post anything regarding to foods/beverages. Now, I will be more active haha. I write this post happily because there are banana milks that I can find them easily. At the first time, I'm badly craving banana uyu (banana milk) from Korea which is popular in Indonesia. The price is expensive enough in here. So, it looks like good news that we can buy banana milk super easy. Thanks for Indomilk because you satisfy my craving! :)

Pisang means banana in Bahasa, I got it in Indomaret which is so ubiquitous here. It costs around IDR 5000 (U$ 0.35) for one banana milk. Fortunately, I bought them when there was promotion "buy 2 get 1", so I paid IDR 10.000 (U$ 0.7) and got 3 banana milks. Yeay!

The compositions are fresh milk, water, sugar, skimmed milk powder, milk fat, stabilizer, identical natural flavour, natural extract, banana extract (0.05%), natural coloring (Curcumin Cl75300).

The banana milk's packaging is yellow and banana fruit represents its taste. The volume of banana milk is 190 ml. I guess that Indomilk Banana Milk has strong banana taste since it's a banana milk. When I drank it, the banana taste is not as strong as vanila/milk. I can taste banana flavour slightly. The milk flavour in the banana milk is firmer than banana flavour itself I think. It's not too sweet so this is great point for me. The colour of banana milk is light yellow. I only poured one third of its volume into the glass.

I think it would be my favourite milk besides of vanilla and melon flavoured milk drink. Okay, thank you for reading my review.

See you on my next post :)

Indomilk Chocolate Milk Review

Indomilk Chocolate Milk Review

Hello everybody! What a nice day? Happy Indepedence Day to all my American readers! It's your independence and big day as well :) In this review, I will give my opinions regarding to milk. Ya, I love drinking milk whether soy milk or cow milk. Since I was child, my parent bought me fresh milk almost every day. It had plain taste and I liked it though.

There are at least 7 flavours of milk in Indonesian minimarket/supermarket. You can easily find plain, melon,  strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, mocha, and newest flavour which is banana from many brands. Oh My God, the taste is incredibly good too.

Okay, it’s time for reviewing Indomilk Chocolate Milk. The netto is 1000 mililiter (mls). It costs around IDR 16.800 (U$ 1.2). I think it’s cheap enough as you can get 1 liter of milk. Indomilk just produced new packaging for Indomilk. The newest packaging makes you easier to hold on it. The cap also is more practical and safe. Before drinking, we have to shake it well.

The ingredients are : fresh milk, water, sugar, skim milk powder, cocoa powder, stabilizer, milk fat, natural identical flavour, vitamin A abd D3 (contain antioxidant tocopherol), vitamin E, B1, B6. Indomilk claimed that its milk only made from fresh milk. This is UHT Milk which is processed in Ultra High Temperature.

The chocolate flavour is strong enough and insanely great. It’s not to sweet and it wont make me drink it rarely. As a chocolate lovers, Indomilk Chocolate Milk is really well for me. I will recommend it to all chocolate milk drinkers. Overall, it is completely nice milk.

This is my review about Indomilk Chocolate Milk. Hope you can let me know your favourite milk too here. Have a nice day!

Thank you for reading :)
